    Yes, the E-Glow app enables women to report GBV cases on behalf of survivors, ensuring crucial cases are addressed and pro-bono legal support is alerted.

    Requirements are simple, you just need to be an active member of a registered SACCO, CBO or Self-Help Group and willing to work hard and smart.

    You can support E-Glow through partnerships, donations, volunteering, and spreading awareness about our mission.

  • Who is eligible to join E-Glow?

    Any woman in Kenya 18 yrs and above with a valid ID card.

  • Can I join E-Glow without being in a Sacco, CBO, or self-help group?

    Yes, you can join E-Glow without being a member of a Sacco, CBO, or self-help group. However, you will not have access to the services specifically offered to these groups, including comprehensive training and community support, free health screening etc. Additionally, you will need to pay the cash price for the EV (approximately KES 152,000) or secure financing through your own bank.

  • How much can I expect to make on a monthly basis?

    Earnings can range from $500 to $800 (USD) per month, depending on the number of jobs completed and individual work ethic. This estimate also allows for potential savings.

  • What jobs can I expect to get working as an E-Glow rider?

    E-Glow riders have access to a variety of job opportunities in a rapidly expanding market, including:

    • Delivery services for goods and packages.

    • Transportation of passengers.

    • Logistics services for local businesses.

  • Do I need to know how to ride a motorcycle to join E-Glow?

    Absolutely not! We understand that many women may not have prior experience riding a motorcycle, and we've designed our program to address this. E-Glow is committed to providing you with the necessary skills and confidence to succeed as an e-rider.

    Here's how we ensure you're fully prepared:

    • Comprehensive AA Training: Our partnership with AA (Automobile Association of Kenya) guarantees you receive top-tier training. You'll learn everything from the fundamentals of motorcycle operation to advanced defensive riding techniques.

    • Focus on Spiro EVs: The training is specifically tailored to the unique features and handling of Spiro electric vehicles. You'll become proficient in operating these eco-friendly motorcycles safely and efficiently.

    • Thorough Traffic Rules Education: We prioritize your safety and compliance. You'll receive in-depth instruction on Kenyan traffic laws and regulations, ensuring you're a responsible and informed rider.

    • Practical and Written Exams: To ensure competency, you'll undergo both practical riding assessments and written exams covering traffic rules and EV operation.

    • Interim Driving License: Upon successfully completing both exams, you'll receive your interim driving license, officially authorizing you to ride.

    • Personalized Learning: The training typically spans 3-4 weeks, but we adapt the pace to your individual abilities. Our instructors are patient and supportive, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident at every step.

    • Building Confidence: We understand that learning to ride can be daunting. Our training is designed to build your confidence and empower you to navigate the roads safely and independently.

  • How much is the loan and what is the payment period

    The loan amount and payment period will ultimately depend on your specific Sacco, Community-Based Organization (CBO), or self-help group. However, on average, you can expect a down payment between KES 16,000 and KES 20,000, with monthly payments of approximately KES 267 for 24 months. This financing, along with the cost of essential accessories, can be readily facilitated if you are a member of a Sacco, CBO, or self-help group.
