E-Glow is a transformative initiative with a profound focus: empowering young women aged 18-35 from low-income areas of Kenya. Our program specifically targets women who are already members of active Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), Self-Help Groups, or Savings and Credit Cooperatives (SACCOs) and possess an active bank account – leveraging existing community structures for effective outreach and support.

More than just providing access to electric motorcycles, E-Glow is about changing lives. We firmly believe in the power of women as the cornerstone of society; empowering and dignifying a woman has a ripple effect that transforms entire communities.

Our comprehensive 4-5 week program takes a woman with limited resources and equips her with the skills and tools necessary to thrive in the burgeoning gig economy. Upon completion, she possesses the practical skills to safely operate an electric motorcycle and understands traffic laws, holding a valid driver's license. Furthermore, she is trained in essential customer service and professional etiquette, ensuring positive interactions and repeat business.

E-Glow provides her with the technological tools for success: a new smartphone with pre-installed E-Glow app, enabling seamless connection with customers for various delivery services. Crucially, she is equipped with branded safety gear, including DOT-certified helmets and high-quality reflector jackets, alongside professional food delivery bags, ensuring both her safety and brand visibility. And at the heart of her new venture is a Spiro electric vehicle, her key to sustainable income generation.

E-Glow provides these women with the platform and a level playing field to compete effectively in a traditionally male-dominated industry. This empowerment translates to a significant improvement in their economic standing, with the potential to earn between $400 and $700 per month, depending on their dedication and market dynamics.
